Copied this from [link] which I consider to be an outstanding photo.
I appreciate that there's a lot of work still to do - I'm certainly not complacent about it - and I recognise that to bring it up to the standard of a lot of the work I see on Deviant then I need to focus a bit more.
I used a 2B solid graphite pencil, a 4B for the darker areas, an HB (solid graphite) for final lines and a paper stump for shading. I guess there's about 4 or 5 hours work there - certainly no more.
