Drawn in February 2015. The model is Scarlet, a really good model. Great poses, manages to keep still, excellent to draw.

There’s normally between 40 and 60 artists – mostly students – and three models. They seem to have one male and two female as a general rule. It’s great to see what other people do and I’ve seen some excellent art skills.

This is a 15 minute pose. I’m using a 2mm mechanical pencil (Rotring or Koh-I-Noor) normally a B and a 5B. I use a paper stick and small chamois for shading and I’ve also started trying out a Sepia or Blue wash.

There’s no better way to spend a Tuesday evening!
